After this page you can pick the right WireTap plan and know exactly what you’ll pay — a flat monthly (or annual) price, no metering, no surprise invoices.

Stripe test mode

Hosted billing currently runs in Stripe test mode end-to-end — plans, trials, and subscriptions all work, but no real money moves until the live-mode flip. Self-hosted instances never bill.

Flat, per program

WireTap is priced per program, as a flat subscription — not metered events, not seats, not credits. You always know your bill. Every program you register gets the full product: decoded failures, drop diagnosis, Telegram alerts, MCP tools, and leaderboard scoring.

Free, no account

The public /why <sig> lookup — on the site and via the bot — is free and needs no signup. Paste any mainnet signature, get the decoded reason. It’s rate-limited (30 requests/ min per IP). It’s demand-gen, not a plan: registering a program is what unlocks alerts, drop classification, wallet history, and retained data.

Trials & lifecycle

• Registering your first program starts a 14-day trial automatically — no card.
• Pick a plan (monthly or annual) any time from the account page; it creates a Stripe test-mode subscription. Status tracks trialing → active → past_due → canceled.
• Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Self-hosting

Run the whole stack yourself from docker compose — you pay only your own infrastructure and RPC. The hosted plans above are the same product plus our infrastructure, keys, the public leaderboard, and someone else carrying the pager.
